GuessCraft Word Game
Make a custom word-guessing puzzle from any word, add a secret message, and send friends a link to play.
GuessCraft Word Game turns any 4-8 letter word into a guess-the-word puzzle with six tries and green/yellow/gray letter feedback. Add a title and a secret message that appears only when the word is solved, then send the link: anyone can play it in a browser, no account or app needed. You can also play a random common five-letter word right in the chat.
What it does
- Custom puzzles from your own 4-8 letter word, including names that are not in the dictionary
- Secret message revealed on solve: anniversaries, birthday surprises, gender reveals, class announcements
- Share link that plays in any browser; the answer is not in the link
- Play in the chat with an on-screen or hardware keyboard and colored key hints
- Standard duplicate-letter rules, checked against an independent model on thousands of cases
- Guess checking against the 172,000-word ENABLE list, or allow any letters
- Random mode with 2,128 common five-letter words
- Copy an emoji result grid that shows the colors but never the word
Try asking ChatGPT
“Make a word puzzle with the answer PIZZA and the message 'Friday night is on me!'”
“Create a custom word game for my partner: the word is BEACH, title 'Our next trip'”
“Let me play a random five-letter word puzzle”
Limitations
- Words are 4 to 8 letters, A-Z only (accents are removed); random puzzles use five-letter English words
- The share page hides the answer from casual viewing, but it is obfuscated, not encrypted: someone who decodes the page script could find it
- The guess dictionary is English (ENABLE word list); other languages work only with 'any guess allowed'
- Progress on the share page is saved in that browser only; there are no accounts, streaks or leaderboards
